Lionacleit Guest House is situated in the township of Lionacleit (Liniclate) on the island of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The guest house comprises a converted croft house with converted farm steadings and additions to provide comfortable modern facilities for the traveller or holidaymaker.
The family run guest house is situated in a 24-acre croft and has been in the same family since 1881 when the original thatched cottage was built. Today, the only hints of that bygone age are where openings through the original house walls can be seen to be in excess of one metre thick and the name of one of our sel catering units - ‘Smiddy' which harks back to the blacksmith trade formerly carried out here by our previous generations.

The chalet annexe (located next to the house) has a protected courtyard for access to the main house. This accommodation block gives a choice of single and double bedrooms (subject to availability).
The smiddy steadings is located in the grounds next to the main house and is a modern brick built facility on the ground of the original blacksmith's smiddy. The 'Smiddy' is double glazed, fully fitted with househol appliances and all accommodation is on the ground level. More information regarding 'Smiddy Steadings' can be found here.

 Am Bothan is located next to the main house and is the gaelic name for our other self catering facility. Am Bothan is a modern brick built cottage, double glazed and fully fitted with household appliances but also incorporates the island tradition of coomed upper floor rooms.

The dining room is located in the main house and we pride ourselves in our good quality home cooking using local and Scottish produce where possible.
